Day 1 : Arrival | Colombo Airport → Anuradhapura
Upon arrival at Colombo Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a member of our local team or your appointed driver, who will assist with your transfer and check-in at your hotel or resort in Anuradhapura.
Anuradhapura, the capital of Sri Lanka’s North Central Province, is one of the island’s ancient capitals—renowned for its remarkably preserved ruins of Sinhala civilization.
Day 2 : Anuradhapura → Mihintale → Habarana
After an early breakfast, begin your journey toward Habarana. En route, enjoy lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant, offering a flavorful introduction to Sri Lankan cuisine.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. To ease jet lag, we recommend a gentle village walk—an ideal way to acclimate to the rhythm and charm of rural Sri Lanka.
Dinner & overnight stay in Habarana.
Day 3 : Habarana → Polonnaruwa → Minneriya National Park → Habarana
After breakfast, set off for Polonnaruwa, the second most ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka. Explore its evocative ruins—shrines, palaces, stupas, hermitages, and reservoirs—each whispering stories of a glorious past.
Enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan lunch at a local restaurant.
Later, embark on a thrilling jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, home to one of the largest wild Asian elephant gatherings in the world. Watch these majestic creatures drink, play, and graze in the lush grasslands.

Day 4 : Habarana → Sigiriya → Aukana → Habarana
Rise early and enjoy breakfast before heading to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 200-meter-high rock column offers a breathtaking climb and panoramic views.
After lunch at a local restaurant, if time and energy allow, visit the Aukana Buddha Statue—Sri Lanka’s tallest ancient Buddha statue at 11.36 meters. En route, marvel at the historic Kala Wewa reservoir.

Day 5 : Habarana → Dambulla → Matale → Kandy
After breakfast, check out and travel to Kandy. Stop at the Dambulla Rock Temple, also known as the Golden Temple, featuring 153 Buddha statues and exquisite murals depicting the life of Gautama Buddha.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Kandy.
In the evening, visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) and witness the ceremonial Maligawa Thewawa offering ritual, followed by a vibrant Kandy cultural dance show.

Day 6 : Kandy → Three Temples → Peradeniya → Kandy
After breakfast, explore three ancient temples near Peradeniya:
Lankatilaka Temple – Built atop Panhangala Rock, known for its grandeur and historical significance.
Enjoy a village walk to immerse yourself in local culture, followed by a visit to the lush Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.

Day 7 : Kandy → Nuwara Eliya → Nanu Oya → Bandarawela
After breakfast, begin your scenic journey to Bandarawela via Nuwara Eliya, famed for its cool climate and premium Ceylon tea. Visit a tea factory and pause at the stunning Ramboda Falls.
Enjoy lunch at a specialty restaurant, then take a leisurely stroll around Gregory Lake.
Board a train from Nanu Oya Station for a picturesque ride to Bandarawela.

Day 8 : Bandarawela → Udaweriya Trek → Bandarawela
Rise early and head out with a packed breakfast for the Udaweriya Trek—a 12–14 km journey through rolling plains, tea estates, waterfalls, and remote villages.
Highlights include Bambarakanda Falls (Sri Lanka’s tallest at 240.8m), the legendary Devil’s Staircase, and Satan’s Steps, remnants of colonial engineering.
Enjoy a traditional village lunch before returning to relax at your hotel.

Day 9 : Bandarawela → Buduruwagala → Udawalawe
After breakfast, check out and drive to Udawalawe National Park, known for its thriving elephant population.
En route, visit Buduruwagala Temple, home to ancient rock-cut Buddha statues.
After lunch, enjoy a jeep safari through Udawalawe’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.

Day 10:Udawalawe → Ratnapura → Colombo → Airport
After breakfast, depart for Colombo. Stop in Ratnapura, Sri Lanka’s gem capital, to witness traditional gem mining techniques.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before arriving in Colombo. If time permits, take a short guided city tour or indulge in some last-minute shopping.
